Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. , a leading third-party video game accessory provider, announced today that it has renewed its license agreement with Major League Baseball Properties ("MLB") to produce a new line of customized MLB team controllers and other related accessories. The new multi-year license extends the previous license agreement between Mad Catz and MLB to allow Mad Catz to distribute licensed products.

"Professional sports licenses present Mad Catz with another opportunity to expand our product offerings and diversify our revenues. With our renewed Major League Baseball Properties license, we now have agreements in place to produce branded controllers and accessories for MLB as well as the NBA and NFL so that fans everywhere can show support for their favorite sports teams while they enjoy another favorite pastime, gaming," said Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz.

Mad Catz will develop new stylish video game controllers, faceplates and Console Skinz(TM) for all 30 MLB teams, each featuring the team's colors and logos. The Mad Catz MLB products will be available for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360, PSP, Nintendo DS Lite, and Nintendo Wii gaming consoles.

"Mad Catz has a strong track record for producing high-quality video game accessories and based on the demonstrated success of their prior line of MLB branded products we are proud to extend our license agreement," said Howard Smith, Senior Vice President, Licensing, Major League Baseball Properties. "With the 2007 season already underway, fans can rally behind their favorite Major League team with stylish accessories that show their enthusiasm for the national pastime."
