Riviera: The Promised Land Review
12 out of 12
Riviera is a solid role-playing game that offers a lot of fun for your GBA.

Another great addition to the game was the voices. Considering this was a Gameboy Advance game, I did not expect it to have such diversity, but thankfully I was proven wrong. There are over 125 voice clips to collect, and plenty of music as well. They squeezed a huge amount of quality in such a small cartridge.

The storyline ends up feeling quite fresh in the overused area. It is a refreshing storyline that will have you commit to playing it from beginning to the end, trying to unlock all aspects of the game. I also felt overwhelmingly compelled to max out each of their special abilities, and try out their very selective special moves. It is a fantastic new take on a battle system, remains enjoyable from start to finish. All and all Captain Gordon gives this game… a B+.
