According to an article on Gamasutra (the official news source for GDC 2007), a game set in the Halo series being developed through a collaboration with famed director Peter Jackson's and Microsoft's Bungie Studios. The game will be released in episodic fashion for the Xbox 360, though no details on it were revealed beyond that information. Jackson and Bungie are working on another episodic game, but details are paper thin at press time.

The information was revealed to reporters this week during Microsoft-hosted breakfast at GDC by Microsoft executives Shane Kim and Chris Satchell .
