Rebellion Gets Awesome
Awesome Developments gets bought up by Rebellion.

UK-based development powerhouse Rebellion announces today that it has acquired UK publisher Ignition's Banbury development studio, formerly known as Awesome Developments. The studio is well known for its PSP work and in particular the highly acclaimed Archer Maclean's Mercury and subsequent sequels. Rebellion's CEO and Creative Director Jason Kingsley said that this acquisition takes the Rebellion headcount to 280 full time members of staff and that the company is fully booked with work until later in the year.
