At its fifth annual Audio Awards, the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) honored LucasArts Audio Lead David W. Collins and Composer Jesse Harlin with the award for “Best Original Vocal Song – Pop” for their work on Thrillville’s “Dr. Kunkle’s Funnkel Cake.” The songwriting team’s ode to Parliament-Funkadelic and funnel cake took top honors, placing Thrillville’s soundtrack among the company of previous winners such as Kingdom Hearts, Max Payne 2 and Katamari Damacy.

“We’re thrilled...pun intended,” said Collins. “The nominating board and the voters for the G.A.N.G.awards are all game audio industry professionals. It’s really special for us to be honored like this by our peers.”

“Both of us are really proud of the fact that our music is such a big part of this new franchise and appreciate the great support and encouragement we’ve received from all those here at LucasArts,” added Harlin. “Fortunately, we still have a few more tricks up our sleeves.”
