After 14 rounds of fierce competition, the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) now has its National Champion. Defeating over 700 of the nation's best Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG players, 16-year-old Adam Corn from Los Angeles has not only been recognized as the "best of the nation's best," but as the official "Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG U.S. National Champion." Corn is one of four Duelists representing the United States in next month's Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship Tournament in San Diego, California.
The three other finalists who will be accompanying Corn to represent the U.S. in the 2007 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship Tournament are Bryan Rockenbach, 15, of Prescott Valley, Arizona; Justin Womack, 15, of Kenosha, Wisconsin; and Michael Bueno, 14, of Daly City, California. The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29 as a part of Comic-Con International in San Diego, California.
