Destineer announced John Deere: Harvest in the Heartland, a "hands-on" real-time farming game for the Nintendo DS that joins Destineer's series of popular John Deere games, which have already sold over a half a million units. Toil over the soil to create a profitable, prize winning, and picturesque farm, all through the Touch Screen interface. Players must Use the Nintendo DS stylus to work the land, pick crops, milk cows, and more. Prepare crops and livestock to earn cash, improve your farm, and purchase land, livestock, and authentic John Deere equipment. Neglect the farm and you will reap what you sow. John Deere: Harvest in the Heartland is scheduled for a November 2007 release, with a MSRP of $29.99.
