Submissions are now being taken for the Quake Live Beta Program. Beta testers will be given a chance to to play and test the game before it is released to the public and offer their feedback and suggestions. As announced earlier, the web based game that was once called Quake Zero, and is now known as Quake Live, looks to resurrect the fast paced action and hectic battles that Quake 3 Arena players were so fanatic for seven years ago with this new – free and downloadable - remake of the game.

While keeping the same gameplay from the classic multiplayer game, the team is adding some impressive features including; friends lists, sponsored events, tournaments, matchmaking, stats tracking, all of which will be delivered free of charge through the web browser. Although signing up doesn't guarantee a spot in the beta, you won't get in unless you try! Simply head to the Quake Live website and enter your e-mail address for a chance to participate!
