PC digital distribution platform GamersGate has announced that Frontlines: Fuel of War has launched and is available for direct digital download on Gamersgate.com . The much-awaited release from THQ Inc. is an infantry- and vehicle-based FPS set against a desperate near-future energy crisis in which the Western Coalition and the Red Star Alliance are battling over the word's last oil reserves.

The intense and cinematic single-player campaign follows the brave soldiers of the Western Coalition Stray Dogs division, as they battle on the frontlines with a huge arsenal of over 60 next-generation vehicles and weapons. The unique frontline combat system focuses the intense combat action on the game's massive and realistic battlefields, and a flexible infantry role and load-out system allows players to choose how the war is waged - and won. Frontlines: Fuel of War also features 64-player dedicated servers for Windows PC, delivering a new level of intense multiplayer combat.
