No Multiplayer for Prototype
May be included post-release as DLC

For those of you who were looking to play through the upcoming game Prototype with a buddy in co-op mode or a fragtastic time in deathmatch, you’re out of luck.

According to TeamXbox , who had a chance to talk to Executive Producer, Tim Bennison of Radical Entertainment, it has been cut from the final product due to time and resource constraints. All hope is not lost however as Tim goes on to mention that multiplayer DLC is an option after the games release but will depend on how well the game sells to determine if it is worth doing.

Call me crazy, but one would think that having it included in the first place would make sales better. *shrug*
