Rising Star Games has announced the latest entry in the Growlanser series, Growlanser: Heritage of War, will be available for the PlayStation 2 in the UK starting Friday, 13th June 2008.

The game looks to offer players over 70 hours of gameplay with a story arc that spans 5 chapters and additional ones to be unlocked. Strategic party combat and the ability to manage your characters skills, give players the opportunity to customize their characters to the situation that is needed to take on the Screapers, fierce and powerful monsters that have infested your land.

The game will also allow players to discover a magical fairy companion. The more time you spend training your fairy partner, the richer your interactions will be with her and the more she can assist you on your quest against the horrors that have invaded.
