According to thequarterbin.com , it seems that there is a sequel coming for the comic book based, light bulb popping shooter, the Darkness on its way.

Although Top Cow hasn’t officially announced it, in the Top Cow panel at the New York Comic-Con this past weekend, it was mentioned that “We can’t say DARKNESS and video game sequel in the same sentence. So, DARKNESS. Wink. Sequel.”. Not containing a whole lot of subtlety there, it really wouldn't be surprising to see a sequel for the dark title in the works after its first outting which was a sleeper hit.
