Crytek Black Sea Formed From Acquisition
Bulgarian Dev Black Sea Studios becomes part of Crytek family.

Crytek has confirmed the acquisition of Bulgaria-based Black Sea Studios, which has been renamed to Crytek Black Sea. Black Sea Studios development team will remain in Sofia, Bulgaria. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Joining the Crytek family was a logical step for us as we think it is a perfect match. We are confident that our team has the creativity and passion to further contribute in creating innovative and enjoyable games. We are fascinated about this opportunity and we are looking forward to work in this new exciting environment as Crytek Black Sea." said Vesselin Handjiev, Managing Director of Black Sea Studios, now Crytek Black Sea.
