Electronic Arts announced that Pandemic Studios will be releasing the “Total Payback” update for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames on October 13th, 2008, for Xbox LIVE. The update will allow players to create even more chaos in the streets and hills of Venezuela by using cheats that unlock the total-payback power of all weapons, vehicles and airstrikes, as well Infinite Ammo and Infinite Health.

The update will also include six new playable characters, ranging from Blanco to Fiona, Ewan, Eva and more. Cross-region Co-op multiplayer will be supports as well so players can play with friends from around the world

In addition to the “Total Payback” update, Pandemic will release the first Mercenaries 2: World in Flames Downloadable Content in November. No information on the DLC just yet, but keep your eyeballs peeled.
