Date: Thursday, July 02, 2009
Author: Jeff McAllister

Eidos has announced two new DLC packs - The Mustang Pack which will be available starting today and the Carrier Battles Map Pack which will be available on July 23rd - that will prolong the naval battles for Battlestations: Pacific, giving players new units and maps for tailor-made battles.

Featuring six new units and 18 new pieces of nose art, and running for 160 MS Points, the Mustang Pack allows players to customize their battles in both single and multiplayer modes. Amongst the units, players can take to the skies in the legendary US P-51 Mustang bomber escort, a late entry to the Pacific campaign.

The Carrier Battles Map Pack which will cost you 800 MS Points, gives players four new maps, playable across all five multiplayer modes. Take part in a clash of carriers at Midway, do battle at dawn in the mist of the Philippine Islands, experience the fury of Kamikaze attacks in the rocky islands of the Leyte Gulf and take control of your forces amongst the mountain peaks and glacial waters of the icy Aleutian Islands.
