Portal 2 on PS3 Gets Steamy

Portal 2, set to release April 19, will be the first PS3 game to incorporate a console-based version of Steam - Valve's popular gaming portal on PC. Portal 2 will feature cross-platform matchmaking, friend-lists, chat, and achievements.

Only a small handful of games, and none quite so prestigious, have attempted cross-platfrom compatibility. If everything goes according to plan, this could signify a major change in the way developers approach online components of games in the future.
