Capcom Damaged by PSN Outage
Senior VP Christian Svensson responds.
Date: Monday, May 09, 2011
Author: Brian Rowe

Although Capcom certainly isn't the only company affected by the PSN outage, Senior VP Christian Svensson, in a comment at Capcom Unity, offered a glimpse of the damage caused:

"On a related note, as an executive responsible for running a business, the resulting outage obviously costing us hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars in revenue that were planned for within our budget."

It should be noted that any hostility in Svensson's comment was not directed at Sony, but rather the hacker(s) who are "punishing millions of other consumers and businesses" with their actions.
