Portal 2 Authoring Tools in Beta

This is the point when some of you start wondering, "Why, oh why, did I buy the console version of Portal 2 (as fantastic as it may be)?"

Valve has released the toolset as part of an open beta. And, if you've ever used Hammer (Source editor), you know that this isn't any old rinky dink map-editor. The tools will grant you the ability to create full singleplayer and co-op maps, 3D models, skins, sounds, and music. For beginners, there will be a few maps included to help you get started.
