Activision Publishing announced that Cabela’s Survival: Shadows of Katmai is coming this fall to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 the Wii. Packaged with the TOP SHOT ELITE controller, players use it to survive the rugged icy region of Alaska as Logan James, a bush pilot who crash lands in a remote corner of the Alaskan high country. Injured, isolated and in the middle of a hostile wilderness, Logan is cut off from all hope of rescue and it’s up to players to guide him to safety.

With nothing but firearms and gear scavenged along the way, players must trek through a variety of hostile environments that include mountain peaks, icy cliff side trails, dense forests, frozen rivers and huge uncharted caverns. Players must survive by fighting the elements, finding food and shelter and keeping the various creatures from killing them before everything else does.

Cabela’s Survival: Shadows of Katmai will be available on November 1.
