Epic Games passed along word that Unreal University will be coming to the Montreal International Game Summit (MIGS) November 1-2. The Montreal International Game Summit (MIGS) will take place at the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure Hotel in Montreal, Quebec. Anyone who has a ticket to MIGS can attend the Unreal events but seats will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Unreal University provides Unreal Engine 3 and Unreal Development Kit (UDK) developers with hands-on learning experiences directed by Markus Arvidsson and James Tan, two seasoned UE3 instructors who have led previous Unreal University programs. Session topics include getting started with UDK, level design best practices, mobile game development tips and tricks and more. The full program schedules for both days can be found

. Also at MIGS, Epic Games Senior Gameplay Designer Lee Perry will keynote the design track entitled, “How Prototype-Based Design Shaped the Gears of War Series.”

Epic says that they are bringing these workshops to Montreal because the European Epic Developer Day and Unreal University were highly successful events that sold out within hours.
