Electronic Arts announced that its EA SPORTS label is developing a new Streets game of the FIFA variety. The game is being developed by the EA SPORTS FIFA Soccer franchise developers at EA Canada, and will take its inspirations from street soccer styles and stars from around the world. EA SPORTS FIFA Street will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early 2012.

FIFA Street will be connected to EA SPORTS Football Club, allowing players to contribute to their Football Club identity. Fans that purchase EA SPORTS Season Ticket will also get full-game digital access to FIFA Street three days in advance of launch.

The game promises to offer a special new control scheme, offer various soccer street specialty moves from around the world and utilize the FIFA gameplay engine to deliver high definition graphics and FIFA-themed gameplay.

FIFA Street has not yet been rated.
