Telltale Games announced today that it is officially authorized by Nintendo to be a publisher of Wii games. The company will begin its reign of terror with Back to the Future this October as a $20 retail release.
"Securing a publishing agreement with Nintendo of America ensures that we can make our popular content available on every major console platform," Telltale CEO Dan Connors said. "This signing is a significant milestone in our long-term growth strategy."
Telltale has released games for Wii before, but only on WiiWare. Moving its properties to retail allows the company to avoid space restrictions associated with WiiWare.
Telltale is also working on Jurassic Park: The Game, Law & Order: Los Angeles, The Walking Dead, and titles based on the comic book Fables.
