Activision announced today that the Call of Duty Elite beta goes live today on PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 today. The beta will be rolled out in stages, with limited invitations beginning today.

Some of the features being tested in the beta include stat tracking, custom player groups, competitive events and video sharing. More will be added for testing as the beta rolls on.

Xbox 360 users have been testing the game for awhile, but PC users will have to wait until after every other platform. Do you remember when COD was a PC franchise? Those days are over, obviously.
