The latest in the Xbox Live Marketplace holiday promotion focuses on virtual items and goods related to Gears of War 3.

The Gears of War 3 "Season Pass," which gives purchasers access to four DLC packs (two available now, two coming soon) for 1800 MSP, or $22.50. Microsoft is also offering a 50 percent discount on the Gears 3 Skins Launch Collection, priced at 1800 MSP. Microsoft will discontinue gun-like Avatar items from the Xbox Marketplace on January 1, so if you want to own the Gears of War Gold Lancer prop foe 160 MSP ($2), you'd better buy it soon. The Gears 3 Boomshield prop is also available for 160 MSP.
