THQ's Margaritaville Online is available for play on Facebook, and iPod, with an IPhone game coming soon. THQ describes the game as "an immersive free-to-play every day escape inspired by the lifestyle of legendary singer, songwriter and author Jimmy Buffett."

"The Margaritaville laid back state of mind is inherently social, and this game has captured the spirit of that lifestyle," said Jimmy Buffett, who consulted on the game. "With Margaritaville Online, fans across the globe can party together any time and any place."

Friends can play and party with great music and "frozen concoctions" in an open world, featuring "exotic adventures, customized bars and outfits, and playful mini-games."

Margaritaville Online was developed by Exploding Barrel Games and published by THQ. The game is now available for free on Facebook and iPad (with optional in-game premium items and a one-time Parrothead Membership upgrade). The iPhone version is a companion app that features a variety of popular mini-games from the Facebook and iPad versions and rewards players for living the Margaritaville lifestyle in real life.
