Jam Sessions Released
Ubisoft's guitar game for the DS in stores.
Date: Thursday, September 13, 2007
Author: James Fudge

Today Ubisoft announced that Jam Sessions for the Nintendo DS is now available nationwide at the manufacturer's suggested retail price of $29.99. Jam Sessions is rated E10+. Jam Sessions turns the Nintendo DS into a guitar by simply strumming the Touch Screen to make music, making it a guitar experience in the palm of your hand. While some music titles encourage players to emulate rock stars, Jam Sessions actually gives players the freedom to create and play their own music the way they choose - which appeals to both music lovers and creative souls.

The karaoke mode in Jam Sessions teaches players how to play through songs which span decades of music in a variety of genres but allows players to customize that the sound and rhythm to their own desires. So whether it's playing through "Yellow" by Coldplay, "I'm With You" by Avril Lavigne or "What's Going On?" by Marvin Gaye, the possibilities are endless and give players a chance to make each song their own.
