Codemasters has announced that a special edition of Race Driver: GRID is coming to Nintendo DS, set to launch simultaneously with the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions. Race Driver: GRID aims to deliver intense, racing against AI opponents to create a hair raising race experience, all the way from the grid to the flag. Bringing a new world of motor sport to life, players will be able to race in diverse locations across Europe, America and Japan. Exclusively for the Nintendo DS edition, Race Driver: GRID will feature a track editor, first seen in Race Driver: Create and Race. The creation system will allow players to craft complete championship circuits in detail or use the simple Free-Draw tool to create and race within minutes. Online and multiplayer options will let players compete in four-player races and players will be able to upload and download new tracks to Race Driver: GRID servers.
