Majesco has announced some new details for their upcoming Nintendo DS title Eco-Creatures: Save the Forest . The first eco-friendly adventure for the Nintendo DS, Eco Creatures promotes awareness of the perils of over-industrialization, deforestation, pollution, extinction and global warming, as well as their effects on various life forms. The eco friendly and environmentally themed RTS game allows players to use the DS touch screen to build new environments and save the Mana Forest by controlling units of woodland creatures as they battle the evil Mecha Army.

With over 40 missions to play through, players will learn new abilities along the way to help revitalize the forest. Players can also join forces with 2-4 friends with multi-player capabilities through ad-hoc connections or via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and use the unique Land Make feature that allows players to build their own maps and then invite friends to play in the levels that they've created. Eco-Creatures: Save the Forest is heading to store shelves on March 4th, 2008.
