Empire Interactive has confirmed that development on the DS version of Myst is complete and the game has gone gold. Myst allows players to take their eerie adventures with them in their pocket and incorporates the DS' touch-screen technology to add a totally new experience.

Developed by Hoplite Research, Myst packs in every bit of the original game's engaging and mysterious adventuring experience with more than 40 hours of gameplay. The game has been enhanced and recreated for Nintendo DS, including an all-new interface, a new set of mini-tools, re-mastered soundtrack and video, and the Rime Age, a new world not included in the original Myst.

Look for Myst to hit store shelves for the Nintendo DS on May 13th, 2008.
