Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals, the intergalactic adventure that is the sequel to the best-selling Spectrobes, is set to teleport onto store shelves for the Nintendo DS on February 27th 2009.

Continuing the story of Rallen and Jeena, interplanetary patrol officers, excavate, awaken and train the mysterious fossilised creatures known as Spectrobes. Help defend the two friends on their journey and use the Spectrobes to battle your enemies.

For the first time, you can take on the role of Jeena. Use her research and technological skills to help Rallen solve puzzles and complete brand new missions, getting you to mysterious portals and new dimensions.
