Ubisoft and CBS have announced plans for another game based on the television CSI: Crime Scene Investigation franchise, entitled Deadly Intent, for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, the Xbox 360 and PC.

"Ubisoft is pleased to give CSI fans an authentic crime-solving video game with CSI: Deadly Intent,” said Tony Key, U.S. senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. "CSI: Deadly Intent's intriguing cases, realistic graphics, enhanced character acting and precise lip sync with the voices of the actors from the show will provide fans the lifelike experience they are looking for in a video game based on a television show.”

In CSI: Deadly Intent, players help solve Las Vegas' most ghastly crimes with the help of the new characters and cast from the latest season of CSI such as Morpheus Laurence Fishburne and Lauren Lee Smith. The game features five cases written with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation television writers – so it will basically involve lots of up close and gruesome scenes and snappy dialogue – all to be available this Fall.
