GoNintendo has posted an image of a recent update sent to GameStop employees. The memo notifies employees that the "DS Lite systems have been discontinued and stores wil no longer be replenished."

Although other models are still available - DSi, DSi XL, and the new 3DS - DS Lite was the last model to be compatible with GameBoy Advance games. The memo does not state whether this action is exclusive to GameStop or if Nintendo is ceasing production entirely.
