With Electronic Arts once again in the news, this time for the offer to acquire software publisher Take Two, GameShark was given the opportunity to sit with the newly promoted Director of Corporate Acquisitions, Mr. Snidely Whiplash.

GameShark: Good morning Mr. Whiplash, nice to see you again, and congratulations on your promotion..

Snidely Whiplash: Nice to see you as well, and thank you.

GS: Let’s get started. Given how public EA has been with their dissatisfaction over the Activision-Blizzard merger, how much of your offer for Take Two stems from your previous failures?

SW: Well, certainly the Blizzard situation was one that the board was not pleased with, however those that were asleep at the wheel have been dealt with appropriately.

GS: Dealt with? That sounds ominous.

SW: Does it? Well, I can assure you it’s not.

GS: Good, because for a minute there, it sounded like you had them killed.

SW: Oh, we totally had them killed.

GS: What?
