The Nintendo Wii outsold the PLAYSTATION 3 in Japan by more than 3-to-1
according to sales data released by Japanese mag Enterbrain today. According to the publication which regularly tracks sales data in the region, Nintendo sold 774,123 Wii's in the five weeks to Dec. 30, while Sony sold 232,421 PS3 units.
Enterbrain attributes the shift back to the wii because of the release of Wii Fit in Japan.
Wii Fit comes bundled with a mat about the size of a bathroom scale that users interact with to accomplish various on screen athletic activities..
