Konami is going for absolute control
Date: Wednesday, February 06, 2008
Author: Jeff 'Judasen' McAllister

Due for release March 28th on the Nintendo Wii system, Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 designer Konami has tweaked and re-tweaked the motion-sensitive controls of the Wii’s “wii-mote” and nunchuck. To ease the player into the level of control PES 2008 has to offer, the game will feature a Tutorial mode, a series of instructional videos and tests to show how the Wii Remote and Nunchuck can be used to pass into space, clear dangerous crosses and perform slide tackles. PES 2008 will also include six game modes, including Match, League and Cup games, the tutorial Training system and a Player Trade option. PES 2008 will also allow players to use their own created Mii’s in a 16 man team on the field.
