THQ has released a trailer showing off the gameplay of their upcoming musical game, Band Mashups, for the Nintendo Wii. The game that features a unique concept called “Music Switching” allows the player who is winning the battle, to control the style of music both players hear. When an opponent starts to take the lead, the music switches between 5 different musical styles, ranging from rock, funk/hip-hop, country, Latin and marching band. Check out the trailer below to see what we mean and look for Mashups to hit only for the Nintendo Wii, in April 2008.
