Jimi Hendrix to Appear in Guitar Hero: World Tour

For all you rockers out there, the AP is reporting that the Seattle-based company Experience Hendrix, which controls the Jimi Hendrix estate, is providing the left handed rock star’s music and likeness for the latest "Guitar Hero" video game.

"The Wind Cries Mary" and a live version of "Purple Haze," which was recorded in 1969 at the San Diego Sports Arena, are songs that will be available from Hendrix and are the latest songs to be announced for the peripheral packed upcoming version of the living room jamming game scheduled for release Oct. 27.
