SouthPeak Games has announced that Igor The Game, based on the animated feature from Exodus Film Group and MGM Studios, has shipped to stores across North America. The game brings all of the elements of the film into the living room, and is now available on Nintendo DS, Wii and the PC.

“Igor is a wonderful film that has translated into a fun game for the whole family,” said Ariella Lehrer, President of Legacy Interactive. “Everyone has done a tremendous job creating a game that captures the essence of the film while also being a great pick up and play interactive experience.”

A different twist on the classic monster movie, Igor tells the story of one Igor who’s sick of being a lowly lab assistant with a Yes Masters’ degree and dreams of becoming a scientist. When his cruel master kicks the bucket a week before the annual Evil Science Fair, Igor finally gets his chance.
