Mad Catz Gets Into The Sims
A new range of accessories for fans.
Date: Tuesday, March 01, 2011
Author: Brian Rowe

Mad Catz, the company behind such gaming peripherals as Marvel vs. Capcom 3 fightsticks and premium Rock Band instruments, has struck a multi-year agreement with EA to produce accessories based on The Sims franchise.

As stated by Patrick O’Brien, Vice President of Electronic Arts, "Mad Catz has a long history of working with game publishers to deliver unique products, and we believe that together we can introduce a range of accessories that appeal to players of The Sims series."

What a "range of accessories" entails remains to be seen, although I'm holding out for an animatronic joystick shaped like my Sim. Then again, I wonder if I'd have to buy another after he passes away. I'm terrible at The Sims.
