The Wii U is the much-rumored HD gaming device from Nintendo, and it is probably not what you expeceted.

Looking like a cross between a tablet and a large DS, the controller is at the heart of the Wii U. It features a touchscreen, dual analog sticks, a camera, a microphone, and motion-sensing. It can work as a traditional controller, like a Wii Remote, as a touchscreen, or as a way to play games without the need for a television.

Some of the games announced and teased for the Wii U include Smash Bros., Aliens: Colonel Marines, Darksiders 2, and Batman: Arkham City.
