Date: Tuesday, October 11, 2011
Author: James Fudge

Activision Publishing and ABC Entertainment Group have released Wipeout 2 for Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Kinect for Xbox 360, and PlayStation Move for PlayStation 3.

Based on the show of the same name, the game promises to replicate its hilarity with more thrilling obstacles and hilarious spills. The latest installment has players testing their mettle against challenges from the show’s summer and winter seasons; navigating past ice, snow, foam, and more. Fan favorites like the Sucker Punch and Big Balls are back, while brand new courses and effects promise plenty of surprises. Hosts John Anderson and John Henson narrate the out-of-control action.

The Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game are rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. The Wii, PlayStation Move and Kinect for Xbox 360 versions are rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and older by the ESRB.

Casting for Wipeout season 5 is currently underway, for more information visit www.abc.com .
