Retaining the look and feel of its predecessor can't be totally bad, but it does raise a red flag. Sharing too much with a nearly five year-old game could make this newest iteration feel outmoded. Introducing online play and a stage editor does help to bring the series into the 21st century, even if the feature set is lacking. We'll have a clear picture of what Super Smash Bros. Brawl delivers when it ships to stores March 10.
