I Heart Geeks! City Life DS, My Little Baby Previews
Toni gets a brief look at some upcoming offerings from CDV.

The last game I saw is Lawn Games, which is for the Wii and is the backyard athlete’s answer to Wii Sports. Players choose from up to eight different games including volleyball, badminton, bocce ball, horseshoes, and tetherball. Naturally, online multiplayer is available, and in Tournament Mode you compete against up to 31 other people – though only four play at a time. While your avatar’s appearance is customizable like Miis, in Lawn Games you can also modify your avatar’s skills, which isn’t available in Wii Sports. Can’t hit the broad side of a barn? Up your Aim meter to improve your horseshoes score. You can also unlock lawn and character accessories via Achievements.

There is no definite release date for any of these games. My Little Baby is due around this fall, while I Heart Geeks! and City Life DS are roughly due out near the end of the year. Lawn Games has a projected early 2009 release.
