Emergency Mayhem Review
6 out of 15
The only mayhem you’ll get is frustration with the controls.

There’s still more to complain about – if you’re driving the ambulance, a bonus side mission is to “save” injured patients on the sidewalk or in the street. How do you do this? You rescue them by driving over them! What sort of sick, perverted Grand Theft Auto like city is this?

The graphics are colorful in a sort of cel-shaded way although they are by no means gorgeous – it looks like a cartoon rather than a real city. The audio does work well enough—the siren and the fires sound pretty good. All of the audio comes through the Wiimote speaker, which is either a nice touch or a horrible programming mistake that drains the battery life depending on your perspective. (Really, why do we need to hear it through our TV and our Wii speaker?)

The game is extremely easy to finish in a single afternoon. Not that you should play it, mind you. There are far better choices out there than Emergency Mayhem.
