After three Rabbid party games, it's nice to see the series depart from the norm. But whilst sacrificing motion-packed minigames and superhero costumes, Rabbids also dumped the multiplayer. Yes, you can make a friend sit there and launch your Wiimote inhabitant at the screen with a spare controller, but anyone who has the audacity to call that multiplayer needs to reconsider the definition of “fun.” Having the extra hand is nice. Being the extra hand is not.
Thankfully, Rabbids Go Home leaves every bit of the loveable wackiness intact. These crazy creatures are just as cuddly as they are fearful, and it's purely outstanding the way Ubisoft continues to top the insanity. The lack of multiplayer and the agonizing repetition still unfortunately knock this game a notch below its predecessors, but a few fantastic adventures toward the end await those who can pull through.
