Mars City

After the opening scene, walk forward and take a peek around the loading docks. Walk up to the marine in front of you and he will let you know where you need to go. Head up the stairs and have a chat with the scientist on the left of you. After his moaning and groaning, head to the right and go through the door there. Talk to the marine in the booth and he will tell you to stand on the foot prints on the floor for a bio scan. Do so and the scanner will start up. After it is done, the door at the opposite end will open and you are free to go through. Head across the hall as the sentry bot runs past. When you go through the door a short scene will play as reception explains to you about the PDA you receive. When you are back in control, grab the video disk off the desk and for a treat, watch what the receptionist is typing.



If you look close enough, you can see that he types that he is annoyed at you looking over his shoulder. Head up the stairs and have a chat with Chang and make a left to continue down the hall until another scene play. Now you are introduced to Doctor Betruger and something sure seems up with him. After the scene, continue up the stairs on the left and follow the hallway around to the large door next to the kitchen. Enter the kitchen first and grab the PDA off the counter. Talk to the marines if you like, but head out and go through the door on your right. Go through and the sign above you will point to Marine command on the right.



Head that way and eventually you will come to the HQ door. Enter and a scene will start with Sgt. Kelly. After he explains your next mission, follow the sentry bot. All you need to do for this first part is simply follow the sentry bot along until he reaches his square where he deactivates. When he reaches it, head down the stairs on the right. Go down and on the right will be a supply cabinet that you can open by reading Adam Berneche’s PDA that you grabbed in the kitchen (396). Grab the bullets inside and head over to the control panel on the wall to open the door and call the lift. Enter and press the green button to exit the level.

Mars City Underground

When you exit the lift, head out to the lobby and talk to the marine in the booth. He will tell you to grab your gear from the glass case that opens on the right. After you grab the armor, gun and health you are given a new objective to reach the Old Comm. Building to find the scientist. Head up the stairs after you are done talking to the marine and enter the door there. Follow the walkway to the right in the Underground Junction. Make your way down the stairs and enter the door labeled Energy Stabilization. Head down the stairs and have a chat with the creepy guy behind the box. When he walks away, go through the next door to the converge chamber to the end of the energy stabilization unit.



Before you reach the door at the end make a left and there will be a storage cabinet there with a PDA. Read the PDA and you will find the cabinet code 531 to open the cabinet there. Head through the door behind you to convergence chamber two and follow it to the energy chamber. Make a left through the door across from the booth and you will run into a scientist who, oddly enough, you scare. Head through the door on the left but notice how the bridge beside him moved up. As you enter maintenance area one, the light will shut off as you reach the stairs. Turn on your flashlight and head down them to the underground garage.



Make a right to the railing and head down the stairs there and walk over to the marine sitting down. He will tell you that you need to head out side to continue to the Comm building. Grab the gun and health and press the control panel on the yellow airlock to head outside. Enter the airlock and press the button on the wall to cycle it open. When it’s open head across the bridge and grab the oxygen tank to give yourself some more air. Head to the next air lock and repeat the process to get back inside. When you are, you’ll be inside the old Comm Storage. Head up the stairs and enter the elevator. Go up to the second floor and you will complete your objective. Follow the hallway around and enter the door to trigger the next scene.



Now all hell breaks loose literally and the good scientist in front of you isn’t so any more. Kill him before he gets to you and the door to the left of the monitors will open with another z-sec. Kill him and for a little treat, operate the TV screen on the monitor console. Head through the door where the z-sec appeared and head down that hallway to continue on your new objective to return to the Security Checkpoint where you first got your armor and weapon. Kill the zombie there and jump off the ledge going straight to get to the elevator. Enter and take it down to the comm. storage where you just were. Head through the airlock and run back across the bridge to the next airlock.



Turn it on and watch as the door tries to open. When it does, enter the garage and kill the zombie on the right. Head up the stairs and go through the door on the left. After you kill the spooky fellow who was waiting for you, jump up the broken stairs on the left and down the walkway. Go through the door and use the control panel on the left to bring the bridge back down and together. Run across when it is in place and enter the next door. There will be two z-secs in here and some skulls flying around. Ignore the skulls and take out the soldiers. When they are down, head down the stairs and grab the PDA from the console. Now that you have it, your security clearance has been updated and you can now enter thro ugh the door with the red locked lights at the top of the stairs.



Go through and kill the zombie at the end of the hall on the right. Go left and through the door where there is a hole in the floor. Walk around it and down the stairs to grab the shotgun and armor sitting on a box. When you grab it, you will lower and three zombies will attack. Take them out and head up the ladder, the small set of stairs and through the door on the right. Walk over to the body on the right and after you jump out of your skin, make your way up the stairs. Follow the walkway along to the next set of stairs and take out the three zombies that approach. Grab the shotgun on the shelves to the left and use the med station on the right before you go out through the door. When you’re ready head through and go to the right. A short scene will play and introduce you to the imps. Spooky looking for sure, but one shotgun blast at close range will take them down. Continue to the right and head along the walk way and down the stairs.



Take out the zombies and imps there and go through the next door to reach Energy Delivery. Go to the left and enter the door there. Head down the stairs and go to the right, past an imp and zombie to reach another door. Enter and go left around the circular walkway and to the next door where you will meet your first lunging imp. Sneaky bastards aren’t they? Kill it and move past its body and a z-sec will come in behind you. Turn to take him out and continue through the room staying to the right. Go through the door on the left and follow the red room around to the next door. Kill the imp that comes through the stairs and head up them when he is dead.



Make your way across the metal catwalk of the lower level of the underground junction and head for the stairs. When you reach them, the materials on the crane will fall so stay back a few paces. Head up the stairs when it stops falling and when you reach the top an imp will open a door. Kill him and enter where he was. Now you’re in the booth where you first entered the underground and grabbed your armor and weapons. Before you go down the stairs, go to the left and kill the z-sec lying on the console. When he evaporates, go to the right in the booth and activate the security checkpoint on the monitor. Go back up the stairs and out to the junction and head left to the door there. Go through and you will get a message from Kelly to return to Marine HQ.

Mars City

Now that you are back in the main part of the base, you are told to get your butt back to Marine HQ to receive orders from Kelly. Step out of the elevator and kill the z-sec behind the box. Make your way up the stairs and walk to the right for a ladder to fall. Climb up it and talk to the worker there. After you talk to him, turn around and crouch to walk through the open vent. Go to the left and it will lead you to armor and then to the right. Drop when you reach the end and two zombies will attack. Grab the PDA off the desk and make your way out the door on the left. Kill the z-sec there and head to the right. Go through the door and grab the AOC card from off the desk.



Head back out and forward up the stairs to the red light locked door. Use the card on the panel and enter find two more z-secs. Kill them and watch through the window as the sentry bot smokes a few more. Head through the door on the left and wait as a few zombies will slowly come at you in the dark. Kill them and head right to go through the next door. Follow the hallway around, and on the left a flaming zombie will appear. Kill him and continue through the door on the right. Kill the few more zombies here and head around the right corner to where an imp will drop down and say hi. Kill him and enter the Infirmary on the left side. Grab the PDA on the table in the center of the room and the voice message will tell you that the code for the cabinet in the room is 347. Grab the armor and health if you need it and head out the next door. Kill the zombie that gets off the table and continue out of the room.



Go to the left when you exit and kill the flaming zombie there. Go to the right around the corner where the flames are and crouch past and around the next corner to grab a PDA. Head back and follow the corridor around where you will run into a zombie killing a marine. Smoke him and move forward to where you’ll reach marine HQ on the right. When you hear the voice saying “video link up requested”, walk up to the monitor and activate it to talk to Kelly. He will tell you to join up with Bravo team, a group of marines still alive in the Alpha Labs. Head down the stairs and enter the Combat Prep room and kill the Z-sec there. Use the code on the PDA you just found, 584 and open the door to the security room. Grab the goods and head back out. Make a right, around the corner and a quick left. Go through the door there and down the stairs. Kill the z-sec who appears across from you and head out the door on the right.



When you exit, the kitchen will be on your left and the bathroom door straight ahead. For a little treat, go into the bathroom and look nice and close at the mirror. When you’re done, continue follow the hallway around to the main lobby and a sentry bot will show up. Follow him and he will lead you into the ACO lift junction. Here will be the lift you can take up to Administration. Before you enter the lift though, go to the right corner and there will be an open vent. Enter it and climb the ladder and you will find a PDA on the catwalk above. Grab it and then head for the lift.

Administration

Step off of the elevator and a scene will play. When it is over, head to the left. Kill the z-sec there and go up the stairs to kill the zombie on the bench there. Go through the door and pop the z-secs and imps that show up. Head through the corridor and enter the room on the right. Use the med station there and grab the PDA and video cd off the desk. Walk over to the cabinet and use code 586 from the PDA to open it and grab some armor. Head back out and continue to the right through the door labeled Alpha Labs. Kill the imp there and follow the corridor around to the right. A fatty will toss a barrel down at you and walk off. Go to the left and there will be a huge door and a wounded marine name E. Webb. Talk to him and then try to open the large door via the control panel. You will be told that you need to find the PDA of William Banks to open it up.



Head back out to where you exited off the elevator and two imps will smash through the door there. Kill them and go through yourself. Follow the hallway around and when the lights go off, two imps will attack. Take them out and the z-sec that appears as well. Go through the next door and make a left. Follow it around and go through the next door that will take you out to the data library. Head to the right and there will be a room with a glass wall. Enter the door there and grab the armor and shot gun off the desk. Activate the security override on the monitor and watch the next scene. After the introduction to the pinky and the attack, go out through the opening and head for the door on the right. An imp will appear as you go through, kill it and follow the stairs up and to the left. Kill the z-sec, imp and Pinky here.



Make a left at the end of the corridor and follow the stairs up to where the Pinky first appeared. Head to the end and go around the corner to get a message from Kelly on your radio. Continue and go through the next door on the right. When you enter the next corridor, you’ll come to a door marked executive offices and an imp will appear behind you. Take him out and enter the offices. When you go along the bridge with the glass on each side of you, you will see Swan and his body guard below you talking. Continue to the next door and take out the zombie and z-sec there. If you go along the right side, you will come to William Bank’s office but his PDA isn’t in there. Go along the left side and you will enter Dr. Betruger’s office that has candles and a growth of sorts in it.



Grab the PDA off the ground and some Imps will teleport in to battle. Take them out with some shotgun blasts and head back out across the bridge and go down the stairs where the dead scientist is laying. Go through the door at the bottom and you will be back in the Administration lobby. Make your way to the right and follow the hallway back to the room on the right that had the cabinet in it. Go through the locked door that you have access to now and make a right to enter the room where you saw Swan and his body guard in. Grab Paul Simon’s PDA from the desk and head back out. Now you can make your way back to the large door that led to the Alpha labs that had the marine E. Webb sprawled out in front of it. Use the control panel to open it and active the panel inside to enter the lab.

Alpha Labs 1

Scared yet? You should be. Press the control panel to open the door and enter the darkened room. To the right will be 3 zombies at the rear of the room and one at the end across the room on the floor. Kill all of them and use the control panel behind the desk in the center of the room. Press it and go through the next door. Kill the z-secs on the right and head to the left. Follow the passage and head to the next door. Kill the imp there and there will be a room on the right with a giant laser that fires down a corridor. Jump through the open windows and kill the two imps that appear when you hit the floor. Make your way to the right and then left and go up the stairs to enter the small control room called the EPD Lab. Kill the z-secs in there and grab the PDA and video cd. After the little spooky scene kill the imp at the doorway and use the med station in the back of the room if you need to.



Go through the door across from where you entered and make a left. Use the control panel there to open the repair gates at the ladder and kill the z-secs and imp that appear. Head back through the EPD lab, through the two doors and use the code 752 on the supply cabinet there that was in the voice log on the PDA. Head down the stairs to the open gate on the right where the laser shoots through and run down the tunnel when it stops. There will be a panel on the right side to activate that will open a small vent. Crouch and go through it to come to the EPD particle Filter. Kill the zombies here and head down the stairs and through the next door. Go along the hallway to the right and the lights will shut off as you go around the corner. Continue down the stairs and kill the zombie that walks out there.



When you reach the bottom of the stairs, there will be a door on the left. Ignore it for now and go to the right through the darkened hallway. Kill the few zombies that are along there and go up the next set of stairs to find Jack Smith’s PDA and a control panel beside it to breach the gas leak which would have been blocking your path. Head back down the stairs now and go to the left and through the door in the other room. Go through and follow the corridor around to the right and kill the z-secs and imps there. Keep going around the next corner on the left and you will come to another door that will lead into a disturbing scene. After it is over, you will be introduced to Maggots, the new two headed enemy you will face.



Kill them and hop into the open grate in the floor. Crouch down and follow it around to the first opening on the left you come to. It will have some bodies near the opening that you don’t need to worry about. Kill the few zombies that come strolling out and head to the left through the hallway to come to a door with a z-sec in front of a lot of barrels. Shoot the barrels to take him out easily and make your way to the right. Run across the bridge quickly as the grates will drop as you touch them. Go through the next door and some barrels will get thrown down on your head. Keep moving forward and go up the stairs on the left. Head to the left and kill the imp and z-secs that come through the door there. Continue through the Hydrocon condenser and head up the stairs on the left.



Make another left and go up another set of stairs and when you enter the room there, the walls will start bleeding and two imps will appear. Take them out and go through the next door that leads to the Hydrocon Control room. Kill the zombie in there and see the two doors on the left and right. You need a PDA to open the door on the right, so go through the door on the left and kill the maggot and imp inside. When they are dead, go to the far yellow wall and around the corner will be a ladder. Climb up it and go around the far corner and squeeze between the narrow opening. Go through and there will be a scientist there to talk to.



After you do, run through the opening on the left and grab the PDA on the left near the opening in the floor. Drop through when you have it and now you will have clearance to get through the locked door. Go through and kill the zombie and enter the next door. Now you will be in the Hyrdocon Lab. Kill the few maggots that come out, but don’t use an explosive weapon or else the entire room will burst into flames. Go through the next door and kill another maggot and head up the stairs on the right. Go along the hallway and enter the next room that will have a few more maggots in it. Kill them and head for the elevator at the far end of the room to exit the first section of the Alpha Labs.

Alpha Labs 2

Step off the lift and make your way to the right and up the stairs. Kill the imps and z-secs there and enter the door. Go to the end of the hall and there will be a door on the right side that leads to a bathroom. Enter and kill the fatty and maggot and go to the ladder in the far corner. Climb up and you’ll get a radio message about a worker who has trapped him self in storage room c4. Crouch and go through the vents and drop down the opening at the end. Kill the imp there and make your way through the steam and enter room cp01 on the right. Kill the munching zombie there and grab the PDA off the desk. You can also play around with the security camera here on the TV screen. Head out and make a right to the next door. Go through to the walkway that you can see outside from and an imp will smash the glass.



Kill him and run through the next door before your air runs out. When you are in the MFS compressor, kill the z-sec and go through the next door to see a security team run along the catwalk through the glass. Continue along the hall and enter the MFS compressor and walk to the desk on the far side. There will be a video disk, PDA and a control panel for the vent hatch. Grab them and activate the panel and kill the z-secs that appear. Kelly will tell you that the marines know where you are and want you to meet them in sector three. Go through the next door and it will lead you to engineering. Take out the two z-secs and the imp and there will be an open grate in the floor with a ladder going down that will take you to some armor. Go down there if you need it, otherwise just head for the lift in the far corner.



Take it down and kill the maggot and imp that are there. When you reach the bottom, head for the door and you come to an office with a scientist named J. Edwards who will lead you through the next part of the level. Keep in front of him a little bit and take out the imps as they appear. Once you reach the ladder, the imps will take him out anyways so there in use trying to keep alive other than the purpose of using his light. Climb up the ladder at the end and there will be storage cabinet # 039 at the top. Use code 102 to open it and grab the armor out of it. Make your way to the door and head through to find a creepy sight.



There will be webs and bodies wrapped up in here. Go directly forward when you come through the door until you reach the wall. Then go to the right and crouch down to go through the vent there. Follow the vent to the left and kill the trite that sneaks up through the shadows. Drop down and continue to crouch through the narrow passage way. Make a right at the end and you will drop out to an open room. Immediately make your way to the control panel on the far side and active the ladder. It will go up and down until you destroy all the Trites that come crawling out. When they are dead, crawl up the ladder and there will be a few more to kill. When they are all dead, go to the large door and activate the control panel to leave section 2.

Alpha Labs 3

Step out of the elevator and make your way forward. Kill the z-secs here and proceed forward and around the first right corner. Go up the stairs there and kill the imp on the ceiling and enter the room on the right. When you are in there, you will grab Mark Lamia’s PDA and you will see a control panel that moves the claw in the next room. Move the claw over the barrels and when the red light comes on to let you know it is in range, lower the claw to pick them up. When you close the claw on the barrels, click the “transfer Item to incinerator” button and the claw will drop the barrels down a chute. When you grab the firs barrel, some z-secs will enter behind you. Kill them and then repeat the procedure with each barrel.



Once you have all the barrels removed, Kelly will get on the radio and tell you to hurry and find the entrance to Alpha lab 4. Exit out the room and make a right and head up the stairs. Kill the maggot and go through the door to enter the room where you removed the barrels. Grab the keycard from the center of the room and go through the door across from where you entered. Go up the stairs on the right and move to the control panel. Raise the lift there and there will be three z-secs on the lift. Shoot the barrels to take them out the fastest. There is a cabinet behind you at the control panel and the code to open it is 123 as per Mark Lamia’s PDA. You can also grab George Poota’s PDA that is sitting on the ground beside the cabinet. When you have the goods, head back out through the room where the claw is, and shine you flashlight on the booth window for a little message.



Continue up the stairs, to the left and down the stairs there. Go left around the corner and deal with all the z-secs there and make a right around the corner to find some trites. Kill them all and then use the key card on the door there. Go through and get ready for a little ambush. As you walk towards the stairs, imps and trites will appear from both sides. Run up the stairs quickly and kill the maggot as the door opens and let the door close behind you. Once you are in the room at the top of the stairs, kill the imp and z-secs in here and head for the door on the far right. It will be locked and a rush of trites will come out. Jump up on the box in the corner like a fraidy cat and mow down the trites since they can’t reach you there. Once they are dead, a z-sec will open the locked door and you can go through after you kill him. Kill the zombie in the next room and make your way to the right through the door there.



Kill the zombie and trites in here and take the lift down. As it goes down. It will stop and crash at the bottom. Hop off and 4-5 maggots will start to appear in the room. Kill them all and the locked door across from the lift will be unlocked. Go through and walk to the end of the room where the next door is and the two side walls will open to let loose two pinkies. Kill them both and then some imp will teleport in after the room turns red. When they are dead, walk up to the glass window and it will open for you. Hop through and go to the cabinet on the right side and use the dummy code 123 to open int. Head up the small stairs and go through the large door to reach alpha lab sector 4.

Alpha Lab Sector 4

As you step out of the airlock, move forward and got to the left. Go through the door there and you will enter a large room with a glass wall chamber with a scientist in it. He will ask you to open the door by using the panel. You can either open the door or fry him by using the panel but opening the door will get you another PDA. Open the door and then head through the door on the right to ride a lift down to meet up with him at his office. Listen to him talk and grab the PDA off the desk. Also notice that there is a glass storage cabinet in there. To open it, press the button on the blue screen to the left of the cabinet and to the right of the scientist. That will open the cabinet and give you loads of ammo and the chaingun as well. When he’s done chit chatting, exit his office and head to the right. Go through the large door there and there will be an imp in front of you and two z-secs on the walkway across the second floor. Kill them all and then a load of trites will enter the area.



Kill them and head up the stairs on the left side and make your way along the catwalk to come to two doors. One on the left and one going straight. Kill the trites and z-secs that appear and go through the door on the left. Follow the hallway around the corner and you’ll hear a voice saying “come on, follow me”. When you reach the end of the hall, you will hear another voice say “they took my baby”. Head back out and go through the door that is on the left now. Once you are through, Sarge will tell you that you have two choices to take now. One is the EFR system that is more dangerous but lit and the other is the service bridge that is safer but dark. Lets go for the more dangerous one. As you exit the second door, activate the monitor and click on the EFR choice. Also here you will get another PDA, this time of Henry Nelson. When you activate the EFR, it will move a platform out to the left of you. Use sprint and run and jump across to the platform and then across to the next ledge.



From there, there will be a platform in the center of the room that spins around the center. Jump across to it and let it move one turn to the right. Jump off it to the small room there and go through the door. When you enter, kill the two maggots that spawn and activate the ERF Processing on the monitor. When you do, leave the room and jump back to the moving platform. Let it move one more turn and jump across to the next ledge. You need to use sprint and you need to wait until the absolute last second to jump to make it. Go through the door and take out the z-secs there and in the room to the left. When they are all toast and you have all the goodies you need from the storage room, head back to where you entered and jump on the platform that is moving to the left slowly. Stay on the front right corner and let the platform move until it moves down to another door.



Walk off the platform and go through. Take out the imp and trite there and go down the stairs to reach a terminal that has a control panel that allows you to “initiate magnetic field charge”. Press it and then head back up the stairs and go to the right. Now you will need to jump across the two platforms as the yellow cylinders move around. Make the one jump and then kill the imps and make the second jump. Once you reach the other side, go through the door and hop on the next moving platform moving left. Ride it until it reaches the far left and hop off to the open corridor there. Kill the z-secs as you follow the hallway around to the right and up the stairs. Continue to follow the hallway around and when you go down the set of stairs, use the med station if you need it since you will be heading into a boss battle now. Go through the green light door and you will be squaring off against the Vagary.



The Vagary isn’t all that tough as long as you keep moving. The lady spider will toss rocks and grates at you with her mind and if you stop to admire the scenery, you will get nailed by them. Strafe around either far from her and toss grenades, or strafe close to her and pound her with your shotgun. When she does throw an object at you, use the sprint button to move out of the way faster. Keep repeating that pattern while unloading shells into her and she will drop in no time flat.

Enpro Facility

After the opening scene of Bravo team, head off the elevator and Sarge will tell you to reach the reactor control room and replace the coolant rod. Head through the next door and go down the stairs to the sentry bot on the left side. Follow him for awhile but when it goes up a small set of stairs and through a door in to the Control 1 room, Press the control panel directly across from the door opening to stop a gas leak. From there go to the right side and grab Paul Raad’s PDA from the console. Don’t worry about the sentry bot, he’ll wait for you. Once you have it, continue to follow the bot the direction he was going. When he reaches the end and sits in his square, go to the right behind the pipes and there will be a ladder there. Climb up to reach the power core access.



Walk around the corner and there will be an office on the right side where you can hear some crying. Enter the room and watch the scene. Kill the lost souls that appear and then grab the PDA and active that bridge clamps from the monitor panel. On your way back out of the room, stop at the plasma gun cabinet and use the code 972 to open the cabinet and grab the plasma gun. Head out of the office and kill the few more lost souls that appear. When they are dead, head to the right and cross the bridge after it extends. Go through the two next doors and you will come out to the core. Follow the catwalk along to the left until you come to the second door since the first will be locked. Enter it and you will come around to chamber 2 with a green beam in the center. Kill the imps and lost souls and make your way around the room to the lift. Take it down and watch out for the jets of fire on the ride.



When you reach the bottom, head off to the right and take out the imp and lost souls there. Continue through the door and kill a few more imps until you come back out to the chamber 1 lower area. Follow the catwalk around until you reach the small control room that an imp will come out of. Kill him and enter it and activate the monitor control panel to replace the coolant rod. Now you need to backtrack your way to the lift and take it back up to the upper floor and back out to the center chamber 1 area where you passed the locked door earlier when you entered. Go through the now open door and go to the right, killing the wraiths and imps that appear there by shooting the barrels. When they go sky high, head down the ramp and go to the right. Follow the hallway up the stairs and into the Plasma Control room.



Kill the fatty to the right as you enter and head up the stairs and down the other side, killing the other fatty there. Go through the door a smoke the imp that appears and head up the stairs while you head to the right. Now you will have to face a load of lost souls, wraiths and imps but there are also a large group of barrels to the left that can destroy most of them if they are close enough. When they are all dead, head through the door on the left past the two small sets of stairs. Enter and short scene will play. Kill the wraith there and then grab the PDA of Steve Hammer laying near the stack of boxes on the left. When you listen to it, it will tell you the code for the Plasma storage in the previous room. Head back there and enter the code 734 and then return to where you were talking to the marine. When you are back in the garage exit, head to the right side and head for the airlock.

Communication Transfer

As you step out of the airlock, grab the oxygen tank in front of you and watch out for the Cacodemon that attacks from the left. Either try to take him out or just run to the right as far as possible and enter the airlock there. Once inside the base, kill the zombie who crawls towards you and the z-sec on the walkway. Make your way up the stairs and head right. Continue along until you reach the stairs leading down and walk up to the blood covered door. After you are thoroughly freaked, kill the imps that appear and head to the right and enter the open vent. Crouch through and listen to the voice laugh at you as the skeleton moves. Mean bugger isn’t he?



When you reach the end of the vent shaft, kill the zombie on the right and head down the ladder to go back out to the mars surface. When you hit the ground, turn around and take out the trites and head to the far left grabbing as many oxygen tanks as you can. You will come to a lift that will take you back inside the base. Press the button to call it and fight off the trites as it comes down. Hop on when it does and enter the base. Take out the z-secs and imps that are in the next room. Head to the right and take out the three caco’s that appear here. Make your way to the left and you will come to a couple of shelves with crates and imps and a locked red door to the right side of the service tunnel. Go through the open door on the left side and there will be two chainsaw zombies that come out from each side to say hi.



Kill them and the few other zombies that enter and grab the PDA of the floor. Once you have it, head over to the red locked door that was on the right and use the PDA on the control panel. Enter the hallway and it will turn black and light up red off and on. Kill the two zombies to the right and straight ahead. Continue down the hall and to the left will be a door that is locked and to the right an elevator low on power. When you check the elevator, a pinkie will rush out and the previous locked door will be open now. Go through to the right and kill the imp and wraith and around the corner will be some lava breaking through the floor. Kill the caco there and head around the right corner to the ladder there.



When you reach the top, you will get an objective to reach the control room and unlock the maintenance doors. Head up the stairs and there will be a control panel there that you need a PDA to operate. Head through the door on the left and follow the hallway to the right. Kill the imps, wraiths and pinky’s and go through the next door on the right. Grab the PDA on the ground next to the body and operate the control panel there to call the platform over to you. Stand on the 1 to the right and hop on the platform when it arrives. Turn the platform to the left and move forward. When you reach the end, turn right and move forward twice. Kill the z-sec that appears on the left and raise the platform up.



Head into the door on the left and follow the corridor to the next door. Go through and start to cross the bridge and an imp will appear. Take him out and continue through the door on the other side. Kill the z-sec on the right and the imp that will appear near the door. Continue up the left side of the room and kill the chainsaw zombie in the control room. Once he is dead, activate the control panel on the monitor to open the maintenance exit. Head back to the platform you were riding on and click the “move to station three – lift exit” button to move to the maintenance door.



Hop off the platform when it reaches it and kill the caco that appears. Head through the door and use the med station if needed. Make your way to the end of the hall and the floor will drop down. Grab the berserker pack there and start punching all the zombies that fill the area. When they are all dead, head for the yellow striped stairs and jump up to the door atop of them. Go through and kill the chainsaw zombie there and head for the airlock at the end of the hallway. Go through and run straight forward and ignore the caco’s that appear. Go up the small staircase on the left and head for the airlock there.
