Change of Plans

For the first part of this mission, you simply need to follow Sonny as he drives off. Once you have followed him far enough, a scene will play and you will need to chase after another car. Don’t worry if you can’t keep up with it, you won’t lose it. Once you reach where it is, you’ll need to clear out the area of goons. Use the crates for cover just like the warehouse and go though the large set of doors at the far end, Enter the building and go up the stairs. Make a right and kill the goon there. Interrogate the toll both worker and he will tell you that the hitmen went to a club in Hell’s Kitchen. Make your way back down to your car and head there. You have five minutes to reach it, which is plenty of time considering I got lost and blow up two cars along the way. Once you r reach the objective marker, you’ll need to find and interrogate the boss.

Enter the building and you will have more than a few enemies on you. Clear them out and continue through the door on the far right in the next room and follow the stairs down. Clear o ut this room as well and then a marker will appear where the boss will be. Enter the room there and start to interrogate him. He won’t talk, so go over and give his girl a slap. She’ll break and then so will he after you talk to him again. Now that he has spilled the beans, you have 5 minutes to get back to the Corleone compound. Grab yourself a fast car and head there. Once the scene is over, the mission will end. After the scene, you will need to drive back to the Corleone compound and talk to Michael Corleone. Once you do, you will get a promotion and will need to go talk to the Don. Once you are done there, you will need to go to Little Italy to see Monk.

Order to Kill

Once you go to meet Monk, he’ll tell you the FBI is protecting a snitch and you need to kill him. Start driving to go meet him and you will only have 3 minutes to get to Monk. Once you get there, enter the building and start to kill the enemies there. The lobby will have three and two more that come down the stairs. Work your way up and clear out each of the rooms as you go up another set of stairs. When you reach the top floor, step on the blue marker and a scene will play. After the scene is over, make your way back down the stairs and head for the basement. Enter the large dining area there and kill the few remaining enemies and kill Monk. There are quite a few enemies so make sure you use cover well. When everyone is dead, make a left out of the room and go through the door there after you vault over the wall to complete the mission. Once you are done here, Meet with tom Hagen back at the compound and there will be some stuff going down. Talk to Tom after the scene and then go and meet Willie Cicci over in Brooklyn.

It’s Only Business

For this rather short mission, you have three minutes to catch up to Tessio as he runs away in the hail of gunfire. Make a right as you enter the building and clear out the bar area. Go into the hallway and jump in the elevator on the right. Go up and again clear out this hall way and head up the stairs. When you find Tessio in the back room, kill the guard with him and then talk to him. When you are done talking to him, let him have it and the mission will be done. Head back down stairs and out the front door to talk to Tom. He’ll tell you to meet Michael at the baptism in little Italy. Get yourself a car and make your way over there.

Baptism by Fire

Once you reach the church and talk to Michael, you will have a time of 13 minutes to put a hit on Don Stracci to get to the flower shop and talk to Clemenza. Once you reach the flower shop, get out and talk to him and he will tell you that you need to pick up Don Stracci at the St. Alban’s hotel. When you reach it, head inside and make your way to the left to find the stairs. Head up and talk to the thug there to get the Don to come out. Talk to the don when you get there and he will start to follow you out. Walk into the elevator and when you reach the bottom floor the gig will be up. Kill him in the vator and then everyone else that is around. Talk to Clemenza once every one is dead and then head out to the street. Next you will have 13 minutes to go talk to Willie Cicci and kill don Cuneo.

Once you meet up with him, you’ll need to drive to the Savannah hotel to meet up with the boss. Don’t you wish cell phones were invented back then; it would be so much easier. When you reach the hotel, talk to Willie again and he will tell you to wait outside. Wait until the goon and the don come outside and then kill the guards and then the don. When they are all dead, head to the parking garage to the left and enter the hotel through there. Make your way up the stairs and help Willie clear it out. Once all the enemies are dead, talk to Willie again and you will need to get yourself to meet Rocco to take down don Tattagalia. Make your way over to Brooklyn and enter the club to talk to Rocco. Grab yourself a fast car to get there though, it’s a long drive. Once you reach the club, enter to talk to Rocco and he will tell you the boss is with a hooker somewhere.

Head outside and talk to the hooker there and she will tell you where the brothel is. Head there on foot since it is just around the corner and enter. Enter the lobby and start to clear out the enemies. There are less then the previous missions, so make your way quickly up the stairs and into the room where the don is. Kill everyone here and the don and you will need to talk to Rocco again. Now you’re off to Little Italy again to talk to Al Neri at the cop shop to take down don Barzini. Talk to him there and he will be all decked out like a copper. Jump in the cop car and roll to the courthouse.

Once you are there, wait by the car without your weapon drawn for Brazini to come out and down the steps. When he does come out, fill him full of lead and a scene will start. Now you need to jump in the closest car and high tail it out of there away from the cops for 3 minutes. Once you have stayed alive for that time, the next stop will be the church where Michael is getting baptized. Again, you only have three minutes so get a move on. Once you arrive at the church, watch the scene and the mission will be over. Now you can go meet Michael at the compound to get promoted to underboss and feel free to roam around NY completing other side missions and destroy each of the other family’s buildings to become the undisputed Don of NY. - Jeff McAllister.
