Problem is that he likes to float way and unleash a blast of concentrated no-fun at you. When he does, make a bee line for the blue rings and jump out of the way. Lock on to the chest crystal and fire as many rounds into it as you can. It can be a pretty slow process, but slow and steady wins the race. Once in a while, the Savior will float close to you on the platform and his crystal will be right in front of you. If you have Holy Water, for the love of god, use it now. It will do incredible damage to him. If not, use combos and hack and slash away at it as much as you can until he floats away again. Keep firing as much as you can and he will eventually take a tumble. When he does, hop on the blue ring and you will hop down on his collapsed body. Go freaking ape nuts on the chest crystal and smash that sucker good. When it breaks, the Savior is no more.
Mission Nineteen: The Successor
Welcome back Nero and welcome to the worst level ever. Yep the damn dice again and don’t get to do it just once, but a whole crap load of times. Hit the die for a roll of 4 and you will be transported to the first battle against 5 Angels. You can roll the die just like you did previously by waiting for the number you want to appear on top and then smacking it. Take out the angels just like you normally do and then a blue ring will appear. Hop on it to go back to the next level of the dice game. Roll yourself a 6 and then you will get to face of with Berial once more. Berial is the exact same this time around and since you have already fought him twice, you should know how to take him down.
Hop on the blue ring to get back to the dice game and on to the next level. Roll a 3 and then a 4 to get you some health back for the next battle with Dagon. Once again, it is a boss that you have fought 2 times already and nothing is different. Kill him and head back to the dice game and roll a 6 and a 3. Grab the goodies and then prepare for a fight with Echidna. She sucked the first two times and she sucks this time as well. Use the same techniques on her as before and she’ll go down no less annoying as before. Once you are back in the game, roll the numbers you need and then you will fight against Angelo Agnus one more time.
I don’t know why, but Agnus was more difficult for me this time around. He was a snap every other time, but this time I actually had trouble with him. He seemed to have used the life drain move a lot more. Other than that, you can take him down using the same moves as before. Once he is down, jump on the blue ring an you will reach the top of the dice game levels. Smash through the stone cave entrance and head down the tunnel for another cut scene.
Mission Twenty: La Vita Nuova
Keeping in theme with the game, you get to fight this boss one more time as well and like last time, having Snatch 3 works wonders. Sanctus Diabolica, as he known this time around, is the same as he was the first time around for the first part of the battle. Although he likes to attack a lot more than he did the first time, keep yourself airborne with the buster on the orbs and slash away at his bubble like there’s no tomorrow. Although this time when his bubble bursts, he will block your strikes with his sword and annoy the hell out of you. Drop to the ground and continually buster him until he either teleports to the ground with you or you finally manage to snag him. It’s not easy and it’s not fun, since if it doesn’t happen, he will rise back into the air and regain his bubble shield. Thankfully you only need to buster him a couple of times until he brings out the big guns. Once you have his health down to about a quarter, he will have a new attack where he drives his sword towards you in a quick charge. When you see him sitting still and blabbing on, get ready to either jump out of the way or roll to the side. When he charges, do it and when he misses you, buster him once again and he will take another played out combo that will end his career.
Once you have taken down Sanctus, the savior returns in his image. Thankfully this is the easiest boss fight ever. When the savior smashes his right fist down – your left – simply jump or roll out of the way and hit it with the devil bringer. It will cause him to freak out and swing with his other hand. When his other comes in for the strike, target it and buster it before it hits you. When the other hand is hit, he will lean his head forward and you will need to give one last buster to his noggin to bring the behemoth down.
controller just yet though! Once the scenes are over, you will need to defend Kyrie for a minute and 30 seconds while scarecrows come and attack. Don’t worry about trying to kill them, just knock them back and watch you don’t hit her. After the timer runs out, then you can sit back, watch Lady and pat yourself on the back for finishing the game. Congrats!
