Indie Chat: PureSim Baseball's Shaun Sullivan
We chat with Indie developer Shaun Sullivan on life as a small fish in a huge pond.

Do you have interest in working on a football game in the future, individually or with other developers?

Certainly. The ability to work on other titles was a key factor in my joining Wolverine Studios. I had already worked informally with Gary on key parts of Total Pro Golf and Total Pro Golf 2, so we had experienced how well we work together. Add to that my passion for football, and the chance to contribute to that game, and I was hooked.

Outside of sports simulations, are there any other genres that you'd be interested in developing a new game?

I love fishing, and for some reason I continue to fantasize about developing a deep fun fresh water fishing simulation. I think it goes back to my youth, where every single day in the summer I would hop on my bike with my pole and tackle box and head to the local Massachusetts ponds and catch bass, sunfish, perch -- it didn't matter as long as I was fishing. The cool thing about being indie, is I won't have to get studio permission to create a fishing game, which one could assume may not be the most commercially viable offering…

We'd like to thank Shaun for taking the time to chat with us. You can check out PureSim Baseball at the game's website . Shaun also recently joined Wolverine Studios , where he is working on Draft Day Sports: Baseball.
