"You're so smart Tipsy, as always."

"Watch yourself child." Did I mention that Jaheira could get a wee bit jealous?

"Boo has a question about the plan if you don't mind Miss Nalia."

"Of course Minsc. What is it?"

"Boo wants to know how we'll be able to see the beasties if we are invisible." Minsc was a fantastic lad in a scrap, but he had gone into too many fights without a helmet on, if ye catch me meaning.

"Minsc honey, I mean Boo, when I cast an invisibility spell it means we'll be invisible so they can't see us, not that we won't be able to see them." Nalia had much more patience with the big lunkhead than I did.

"Miss Nalia, Boo knows what it means to be invisible; however given that photons carry visual information from the source to the eye of whosoever is watching, if we are invisible, presumably any photons carrying visual information of the items around us will pass through us to the monsters, thereby making it appear that we are not present. If photons are passing through us, then any photons coming from the monsters carrying their visual information will not be able to strike our retinas and convey the information to our brains, in effect making us blind. Or does your spell leave only our eyes visible, in which case Boo is concerned that the monsters need only search for six pairs of floating eyes to determine our position. I hope I am asking correctly. Boo sometimes confuses me."

"...." I've seen many things, but a speechless Nalia wasn't one of them.

"Oh well, Boo is confident that you'll work it out before the demons come crashing through the portal and use our dismembered arms for outhouse scrubbers."

"Right, well that's enough time for talking about photons and Uranus, Jaheira, I want ye and Minsc over there. Nalia, and Aerie over there, Anomen, ye're with me. Nalia, make with the spell casting, and make sure we can all see." With that, Nalia started casting. When ye have Invisibility cast on ye, it always feels cold, like it's not just light passing through ye, but warmth too. I prefer hiding in the shadows, me-self. At least that way me teeth didn't chatter.
